Jammu, Aug 5: Senior PDP leader and Member of the Legsialtive Council (MLC) Vikramaditya today said that the Peoples Democratic Party has always supported medical services equally for all regions of Jammu & Kashmir. Reiterating the stand of the PDP regarding the AIIMS allocation issue in the state, Vikramaditya said that his senior party colleague Naeem Akhtar had clearly stated a few days earlier that the demand for setting up AIIMS in Jammu province has full endorsement of the state government of J&K. While supporting the demand and need for a premier medical institute in Jammu, Vikramaditya is however concerned with the unsettling agitation by the AIIMS Coordination Committee in Jammu and has appealed for calm and normalcy. |
