KATRA, Aug 5: Pineland Public High School Katra today organized an inter house Quiz competition in the School premises. The Quiz competition was organized in order to make students aware of the present issues. Various general knowledge questions were asked and the students in shape of audience have learnt about many present issues regarding social, political and economic issues.
Gandhi house won the competition by defeating Nehru House. Principal of the School, Usha Jasrotia gave away the momento to the winning team. She said that such programs are very necessary to improve general knowledge as well as vocabulary of the Students and the co-curricular activities must go on along with the Studies. Moreover she also said that the School have also started preparation for Independence day celebration and a platoon for the March Past will be selected within days. |
