| Inter School tournament held at Hiranagar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 5: The Inter school tournament u/19 today held at Hiranagar.
According to press release, Madhav of Public Modern HSS Hiranagar lift the title of badminton and Ajay Kumar of GHSS Marheen of Table Table Tennis U/ 19 boys.
As part of Inter school zonal level tournments organised by Department of youth services and sports Kathua the tournament of Hiranagar Zone entred Third day at Sports Stadium Hiranagar. The tournament is being organised under the overall supervission of DYSSO Kathua Sunil Kumar and under the convenership of Sukesh Kumar Zonal Physical Education Officer Hiranagar.
Today the matches of Table Tennis and badminton were played at Govt. Higher Secondary School Marheen in which 18 students of 9 schools participated. Earlier the matches of Volleyball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and wrestling were played at sports stadium Hiranagar on 3rd and 4th of August in which 105 players paricipated.

Badminton u/19 boys (Double)
Madhav Mahajan Of Public Modern HSS Hiranagar and Raghav Rattan Paul of Moder Public HSS Hiranagar defeated Akhil Mahajan Of Govt HSS Sallan and Sahil Verma of Rose Public School Marheen by 2-1 sets
Table Tennis u/19 boys (single)
Renkum Singh defeated Surjeet Singh of Govt HSS Marheen by 2 points
Table Tennis u/19 boys (double)
Ajay Kumar and Sanjeev Singh of Govt HSS Marheen defeated Dinesh Bharti and Rinkum Singh. |
