NPSU asks BJP to clear stand on NT exam issue | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today asked Jammu based party BJP to clear its stand on Naib Tehsildar exam in which state government included Descriptive Urdu language' with a weightage of 30 marks. Addressing media person here at party head quarter State president Thakur Virender Singh lambasted that BJP use to pronounce loud slogans and have promised to bring justice with Jammu region. "But this is very shocking that now BJP is in government and still anti-Jammu youth policies are introduced", he said. They warned the coalition government to change the pattern of Naib-Tehsildar exam or be ready to face the consequences. The stipulated pattern of syllabus was also rolled out for the respective 3 hour Objective Type written test of 180 marks in English, which was scheduled to be held in September this year. Admonishing the discriminatory approach of SSB towards the Jammu based aspirants, Singh maintained that the obnoxious criteria adopted by the board for the written test would straight away divest them of an equal opportunity in the competition as this would directly benefit the aspirants of Kashmir division since they are proficient in 'Urdu' and on the contrary the applicants from Jammu region are not versed with the aforesaid language. Kailash Mohan, Lovely Singh, Rishi Badyal, Sumit Jamwal, Shubam Jasrotia, Nitin, Roopesh Singh and Kailash Mohan were also present on the occasion. |
