Police foils timber smuggling bid, seizes 35 Deodar sleepers 9/7/2015 11:56:45 PM Early Times Report Jammu Sept 7: Police today claimed to have foiled a timber smuggling bid with seizure of thirty five (35) sleepers here today from the possession of one person during a checking in the forest area of Naksheri nullah Bhaderwah of Doda district. "The accused has been indentified as Imtiyaz Ahmed S/o Mehraj Din R/o Shapon Bhaderwah, police said. The catch was made by a Police party headed by Bandeshwar Singh SHO Police Station Bhaderwah, Sajjad Ahmed,SDPO Bhaderwah under the close supervision of Z N Manhas, KPS, SSP Doda "Based on reliable information, Police Party of Police Station Bhaderwah intercepted Imtiyaz Ahmed in the forest area of Naksheri nallah alongwith 35 sleepers of Devdar and one saw also has been seized, police spokesperson said.
