udhampur, Oct 24: A youth who happens to be the employee of the J&K Bank, was allegedly assaulted at Udhampur by a group of seven persons here today. Police have registered a case in this regard.
"The victim has been identified as Zunaid Malik, police sources said. In his complaint with the complainant has alleged that a group of seven persons intercepted him near graveyard and smashed the window panes of his car, besides dragging him out and then thrashed him. Police sources said, "Based on the written complaint from victim, the police accordingly have registered a case u/s 341,323,147 RPC against unknown persons. Further investigation was in progress till last reports poured in. |
