Ganderbal Boy Caught in online Hacker's Web Receives statue instead of Mobile in Parcel 10/25/2015 12:15:34 AM Javaid Naikoo Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 24: Today when people prefer online shopping over traditional methods, hackers cheat youth in Kashmir to make a quick buck. In a fresh case, Altaf Ahmad Sheikh of Dangerpora, Ganderbal district was motivated to buy a smart phone from them online on a heavy discount offer. Altaf said over a month before he was deceived by the hackers he would receive calls from one mobile number +911142155300 to buy one smart phone of Intex Company from them with a heavy 70 % discount on the product. After motivating Altaf to buy the smart phone from them, hackers asked Altaf about his postal address with contact number and told him to visit Tulmmullah Ganderbal post office on October 1 to receive the smart phone. "I deposited 3,500 after receiving a parcel from Tulmullah Post office bearing my name and address but to my surprise, a statue came out of the parcel. A hurried call to the hackers proved futile," said Altaf. He found Gulab Bagh New Delhi-110059 written on the parcel. Feeling deceived Altaf also approached Post office Tulmullah where officers expressing helplessness and refused to share with him details of the company where from they received his parcel.
