Two held for alleged 'medicine pilferage' at GMCH | | | early times report Jammu, Oct 24: Police today claimed to have apprehended two persons who allegedly were involved in pilfering medicines from Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu. "The accused have been identified as Narinder Singh and Gurpreet Singh both pharmacists (students) presently working with Chemist shops outside the GMCH Jammu, Police sources said. As per police sources, on specific input, police intercepted two youth in hospital premises and recovered medicines from their possession. Sources said that a team from Food and Drugs Controller Department alongwith the police team at GMCH Jammu is verifying whether the medicines are in hospital supply or not. Sources added that the police yet have not filed a formal case in this regard till last reports poured in. |
