Jammu, Oct 24 : MIER College of Education today organized a series of Guest lecturers to enrich, strengthen and understand the new two years curriculum at the B.Ed, B.Ed Special Education and M.Ed levels. According to press release, three eminent educationists namely Prof. Harish Sharma, Former Professor of P.G Dept of Education, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. G.S. Sodhi, Former Professor, Department of Education, Punjab University, Chandigarh and Prof. Sushama Sharma, Professor, Department of Education, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra were invited to deliberate upon various topics of Philosophy, Research and Inclusive Education. Dean Academics MIER, Prof. N.R Sharma introduced the eminent scholars to the faculty and students. Prof. Harish Sharma, an educationist of International repute spoke on topics "High Leverage Practices (Higher Education)" and "Scope of Philosophy of Education in the Professional Life of the Teacher". Prof. G.S. Sodhi spoke on topics like Steps of Research, Selection of problem, Objectives, Hypotheses formulation, Parametric & Non-parametric statistics and Action Research. |
