LWWS stages play 'Dosti Ki Kasam' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 24 : Lalded Women Welfare Society (LWWS) today staged play Dosti Ki Kasam at Gangyal. According to press release, the play was conceived and written by renowned social activist Rampaul Dogra and directed by Naveen Pal. In prevailing tense situation four friends namely Ramu, nazeer , sukhwant and John of different religion are tense that how they will keep good relation, when religious riots are in full swing in the city. They also starring at each other but usually they sit together and share their tiffin, they never fell prey of any person for any sort of provocation. With further worsening situation the authority put movement of people restricted with the result all four could not meet for two weeks. During the period they thought plan to take a peace March showing a socio-religious unity to break the dead lock. People in large number supported that peace march and in this way a message of unity and brotherhood goes around, which brought the situation back to normal. Meanwhile senior citizens also endorsed the attempt after marching with them. Those who acted were Pawan, Santosh Basotra, Satpal, Kamal and others. |
