JTC demands safe rehabilitation in valley | | | Jammu, Oct 24 : Jagti Tenement Committee today demanded safe rehabilitation of KPs in Kashmir Valley. According to press release, meeting of JTC was held under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita President of the JTC. Speaking on the occasion he said that since the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community has been ignored and deprived by the government of its right the community is at the verge of vanishing and in order to prevent this community from vanishing the community is required to be rehabilitated in Kashmir valley by bringing up satellite township for their safe and dignified living. At the same time he has expressed his grave concern over the prevailing circumstances in Kashmir valley where militancy has started to spread against as ISIS and Pakistani flags are being waved openly and the government is a mere spectator. In addition activities against the Hindu religion are being carried out by the miscreants. Pandita has said Kashmir is the Motherland of Kashmiri Pandita as such they have all rights to reside in Kashmir valley with dignity as the Jammu and Kashmir state is integral part of India. It has been demanded that government should curb militancy to bring normalcy in Kashmir valley. Pandita has demanded one time lump sum compensation to every Migrant family for the losses suffered by them due to damages to their properties during past 26 years of migration, suffering minimum loss of Rs. 2.00 lacs per family per year. |
