Jammu, Oct 24 : Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to take out a protest rally against defeat of reservation policy by the present dispensation on October 26, 2015. Addressing a press conference at Press Club Jammu, Tarsem Khullar, State President, Bahujan Sarna] Party informed that the state unit of Bahujan Samaj Party shall hold a one day rally and march from Dr. BR Ambedkar Chowk to Raj Bhavan on October 26, 2015 against defeat of reservation policy by the present dispensation. Tarsem Khullar, informed that reservation in promotion, in the aftermath of the Supreme court judgment, has been nullified in the state because of non- ratification of 77th, 81 st and 85th amendments to the constitution of India. He further appealed the government to call a special session of the J&K Legislature and pass the law for extending 77, 81 and 85 amendments in the state. He further stated that there is great resentment among the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward sections of society for anti-downtrodden attitude of the present PDP-BJP Government in the State and BJP Govt. in the centre.
