| DBA releases two books | | | | Jammu, Oct 25 : Dogri Bhasha Academy today released two books entitled Sheesha a collection of poetry written by Rohan Bral Roshan and Dogri Kosh Vigyan written by his wife Ganga Sharma at K.L. Saigal Hall in an impressive function. The function was presided over by the eminent Dogri writer Prof. Lalit Magogra, Ex minister Sham Lal Sharma was the Chief Guest while ex MLA Sh. Balwant Singh Mankotia was the Special guest. Earlier Yashpaul Nirmal, General Secretary Dogri Bhasha Academy welcomed the dignitaries, guests, writers and audience. In his welcome address he said that Dogri Bhasha Academy is providing platform to the established and budding writers of Dogri as well as of other languages of the state. Dogri Bhasha Academy is working for the promotion of dogra art, culture and literature with a missionary zeal. In the function, three research based critical papers presented by Dr. Chanchal Bhasin, Joginder Pal Jinder and Vicky Sharma which were extolled by the audience. Roshan Bral Roshan in his speech threw light on the process of his writing and thanked to the all those who helped him writtng including his wife Ganga Sharma. Chief Guest, Special Guest and Guest of Honour also spoke on the occasion and appreciated efforts of the Dogri Bhasha Academy for organizing this function. |
