Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 25: Showing scant regard to the directions of competent court in various cases, pompous administration of University of Jammu has disregarded at least six stay orders in just three months. Sources informed that from July 31, to October 15, the High Court giving relief to victims against alleged administrative autocracy at JU has issued six orders for maintaining status quo, but they have not been obeyed by the latter. "In the month of July 2015, the high court issued order SWP 518/2015, MP no 623/2015 Dr Archana Kesar versus university of Jammu, the order was issued against removal of Dr Kesar from post of Head of the department of Dogri, but same was not complied", source said and added, that another order in Case number SWP 2409/2015 titled Dr Vikas Sharma versus university of Jammu has not been complied." They further said that in month of August one more order of the court was disregarded by the JU. "SEP number 2252/2015, MP number 1/2015 Mamta Sharma versus University of Jammu, the order was issued on August 14, 2015, but again the order has not been implemented", they said. Sources said that in the in month of September 2015, the high court challenging JU order, extended relief to the employees of the varsity, paradoxically, the administration of the university once again overlooked the court's order. In case titled "Rajinder Kumar versus university of Jammu, SWP number 2658/2015 and MP number 1/2015, the order was issued on September 23, but also remained un-noticed in the campus. Astonishingly, in the same month Pawan Kumar another employee of the university brought court order but same was not implemented", sources claimed. Sources further said in the month of October, one more order was issued, but as usual JU authorities remained numb to Court directions. "Hari Krishan, Avtar Singh, Bodh Raj and Ravi kumar filled a case before the court challenging JU order, on October 14, 2015, High Court issued under SWP number 2756/2015 and MP number 1/2015, but the autocratic administration of the university of Jammu ignored this order also", they added. |
