Devender Rana: More loyal than the king 10/26/2015 12:59:02 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 25: National Conference provincial president Devender Rana in his true colours is trying to be more loyal than the King. A day after Omar made an incorrect tweet about RSS march in the Jammu city, Rana has now described the annual march of RSS as an example of new found aggression. Rana has even gone to the extent of saying that RSS march was a display of intoxication of power. He had even termed the carrying of mandatory sticks during the march as an manifestation of presumptuous terrorizing act. The NC leader who is an elected MLA has deliberately tried to ignore history or has gone into selective amnesia. Rana was the political advisor to Omar Abdullah when such RSS march on Dusshera would be held. In fact they used to be held when his master Omar Abdullah was the Minister in the first NDA Government headed by the AB Vajpayee. Even at that time RSS would carry its annual march and on the same route and at the same places in the Jammu, which have been cited by Rana. However, he didn't at that time take notice to it. The NC MLA had though said the people of Jammu understand the machination of the RSS, but he has in his selective amnesia also forgotten that people are also looking and understanding how things are picked up selectively for selective political gains. "With Omar out of power and BJP forming the Government, every attempt is being to project any nationalistic activity of the RSS as anti-minority. It's being done to create a fear among the majority community in the State and then put the blame on BJP for it and in the process on PDP also.
