AJKSSGKS urges govt not to implement court judgment on reservation

Jammu, Oct 25 : All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha (AJKSSGLS) condemned recently judgment of High court in which the court has banned the reservation to SC, ST and OBC in promotion and also urged the State government not to implement in near future during a meeting held at Kabir Temple, Janipur here today.
According to press release, they stated that this type of judgment fringe the constitutional rights of the depressed casts. President of the sabha has retreated that constitution of India is the religion of the depressed casts which provide the fundamental rights, equality before law, right to education, religion, worship and protect the various rights by which these depressed casts live honorably in the society.
Bhagat also given his view point that thousand years have been passed but still social stigma on SC/ST/OBC is carryon in the society and it shall be injustice if these special privilege given by the constitution to be banned. Sabha also discuss the election of the President and other office bearers of the sabha as the tenure of the President and other office bearers has been lapsed. After the long deliberation it was decided that a independent election cell has created headed by Prof. Ashok Bhagat as Chairman, Bishan Lal Bhagat, Bodh Raj, Jagdish Raj Arya, Babu Ram (President Kathua) Dr. K.C. Bhagat, G.L. Bhagat, Sat Pal Bhagat, Bishan Bhagat as members of the Committee, the committee will work out the strategy either election of these posts shall be held through raising of hands or through secret electoral voting.
