Natrang stages play Vikalp | | | Jammu , Oct 25 : Natrang presented a thought provoking performance of the play 'Vikalp' originally written in Dogri by N D Jamwal and translated in Hindi by Dr Om Goswami in its Sunday Theatre Series. The play was directed by Neeraj Kant. The play opens at the home of a working couple who are so much involved in their work schedule that they hardly get time to take care of their newly born child. Being busy in their awful schedule, they have given all the responsibility of their child to their maid-servant. It may be better inferred as to how much concerned the maid-servant would be for someone else's child who herself has to take care of her own family and kids. On one such day, the couple had a severe altercation on who will stay back at home and look-after the child as the maid-servant is on leave. As they both consider their respective works to be more important, no one is genuinely ready to stay back. In brief, the play narrates the story of all those who could not look-after their kids in the proper manner in the name of their ultra busy schedule. |
