GDC Kathua shines in Inter-College Competition | | | Early times Report
Kathua, Oct 26 : Government Degree College (Boys) Kathua felicitated its students who brought laurels and honour to the college by clinching three positions, three consolations and four certificates of merits in Inter-College Competition held at Government College for Women Udhampur in collaboration with J&K State Council for Science, Technology and Innovation, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. As per press release, ten students of Government Degree College (Boys)Kathua were honored by the Principal of the college Dr. B.L. Gupta in a felicitation ceremony organized today on 26th of October 2015, who had participated in one day Inter-College Seminar on06.10.2015 and Inter-college Poster making/Presentation Competition on 07.10.2015 on the topic "Wild-Life Conservation" and "Save Wildlife - Save Posterity". In the Inter-College Seminar which held on October 6, 2015, Atika Sharma of B.Sc. Part-III secured first prize, while Vikram Quanth, also a student of B.Sc. Part-III got the consolation prize. In the poster making/presentation competition held on October 7, 2015, Rahul Sharma and Monika Sharma, both students of semester-III stole the show by capturing first and third prizes respectively. Preetika of Part-III and Shreya Sharma of Semester-III got the consolation prizes. Mohd. Tahir Awan, Arushi Mahajan and Anamika Sharma of Part-III were also honoured by certificates of merit. |
