MVD holds awareness programme on road safety 10/27/2015 12:58:53 AM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Oct 26:- A one day awareness programme on road safety among driver community was organized by the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Udhampur at Sallian Talab Mata Udhampur here today. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Angrez Singh Rana, was the chief guest on the occasion. While speaking on the occassion, Rana appealed for generating massive awareness about the road safety measures among commuters to avoid frequent road accidents. He said that people should adopt safety measure while driving which would help avoid road accidents thus saving precious lives. Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Udhampur, Rajesh Gupta said that most of the accidents occur due to use of cell phones while driving, rash driving and drunken driving etc. He advised to follow the road safety rules to minimize road accidents.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
