| Outgoing Police officials including SP given warm send off | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct 26: Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Yougal Manhas and Station House Officer Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani were given warm send off by the police officials, administration and local people on being transfered from Kishtwar.
Series of special programs were organized across the district to give a farewell to outgoing police officers.
The speakers in their respective addresses applauded the contribution of outgoing officials in maintaining peace and communal harmony, beside sincere efforts to curb the social crime as well as the drug menace in the district. They recalled that during his one year tenure, SP Kishtwar Manhas had played key role in peace initiatives which resulted into peaceful celebration of Eid festival at Kishtwar as compared to previous such celebrations in last two decades. The official also had played key role in curbing the menace of over loading and act tough against traffic violators, they added.
Similarly outgoing SHO Kishtwar also contributed a major part towards maintenance of peace in the area falling under his jurisdiction. The speakers also extended their good wishes for the future postings. In their thanks giving address both police officers expressed their gratitude towards the colleagues, civil administration officials and the general public for their cooperation to them during their tenure in Kishtwar. |
