Jammu Oct 26: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 26th October to 31st October in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II.
During the Vigilance Awareness Week, several programmes are being organized in various schools and colleges apart from site offices for creating awareness among the general masses, youth , employees and their family members highlighting evils of corruption and its impact on our society.
On the first day of the week, at its NRTS-II Regional Headquaters, Jammu pledge was administered to all its employees by the Executive Director, S.K.Sharma.
He impressed upon the employees to practice the virtues of integrity and honesty in all spheres of their lives. Messages of President of India, Vice President of India , Prime Minister of India , Home Minister of India, Chief Justice of India, Comptroller and Auditor General of India were read out by Amarjit General Manager, A.K.Pal, General Manager(AM), S.D.Joshi, General Manager(Projects), Ajay Holani, Addl.General Manager (PESM), R.N.Sen, DGM (C&M) and B.Dash DGM(Finance) respectively.
