Edu department to get online transfer portal 10/31/2015 11:11:20 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 31 Jammu and Kashmir government will come up with online transfer portal to bring in transparency and curb corruption in the state education department. "To bring transparency and curb corruption in the education department, the state government is going to come up with on-line transfer portal in the state," Minister of State for Education Priya Sethi said today. The online system will incorporate the database of all the employees of different districts of education department, she said. The transfers within the department will be done automatically by the on-line system within different zones of district after completion of stay at a particular place of positing, she said. "The state government is also going to constitute medical board as deciding authority for transfer cases on health ground," the minister said. Sethi, who was the chief guest at a function of Bishop Ivan Pereira, President of Education Society, awarded 145 position holders with cash and memento.
