Govt school found closed, action initiated against erring staff

Rajouri, Oct 31: Education department here has initiated disciplinary action against the staff members of Government Primary School Draman in Kotranka zone after the school was found closed during surprise inspection.
As per reports, based upon complaints by locals about closure of a school in Kotranka zone of Rajouri, a team of DIET under the supervision of Principal Pardeep Sharma and led by Senior Lecturer Zahid Malik and Lecturer Fazal Hussain conducted surprise inspection in Government Primary School Draman in Kotranka zone and found it close at around 1:00 PM.
Taking a strong note of delinquency on the part of duties by staff, all the four teachers posted in the school have been served show cause notice before stern action is initiated while Chief Education Officer Rajouri has been asked to take stern disciplinary action against the erring staff members.
Besides this, the DIET Principal Pardeep Sharma also conducted surprise inspection in the middle class examinations of winter zones and checked different centres of Kotranka.
