| DIC Kathua organizes symposium on 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 31: In order to create awareness among students about the cleanliness for healthy life, District Information Centre Kathua in collaboration with Education Department Kathua organized an Inter-school Symposium on the topics "Swachh Bharat Abahiyan" & "National Unity Day" at Government Higher Secondary School Nagri-Parole.
Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Rahul Yadav (IAS on probation) presided over the function.
Chief Education Officer Kathua Balbir Singh was guest of honor.
Principal Government Higher Secondary School Nagri-Parole, Narinder Singh Sambyal in his welcome address threw light on the life of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Iron Man Vallabh Bhai Patel and their efforts for Cleanliness and National Integration.
Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar while speaking on the occasion appreciated the students for their write-up on the topic and called upon them to inculcate the habit of cleanliness among themselves and encourage other members of their family, friends and locality. |
