Boarder assaulted in MAM College Hostel 11/1/2015 12:07:38 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 31: A student of MAM College was assaulted by a group of four persons here at College Hostel which sparked spontaneous protest from College students who also blocked university road. However protestors were later pacified by the police and normal traffic was resumed. The incident took place on Saturday when a group of four persons assaulted one Ajay Raina s/o Roshan Raina of Doda with sharp edged weapons. The accused fled from the spot leaving him in a pool of blood when the injured raised alarm for help and some other students rushed to the spot, sources said, adding that the injured was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment. The report of incident spreads like a wild fire provoking the other students to take to streets disturbing normal traffic on Ambedkar road. However police team was rushed to spot which assured the protesting students to take action against the guilty following which the students lifted their protest.
