PCC holds meet 11/4/2015 11:00:16 PM Early Times Repot RAMBAN, Nov 4: The Vice President, Pradesh Congress Committee and former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma presided over a meeting of party workers and senior District Indian National Congress(INC) leaders at Tourist Bungalow in Ramban today. In the meeting various burning issues confronting a common man in the state were discussed besides the steps to strengthen the party cadre.Sharma exhorted his party workers to strive at their level best to maintain the communal harmony in the society which has been the age old trait of India and reach out to every needy in the best possible way which is the basic responsibility of every politician.He assured them that very shortly the party delegates shall be nominated in each block who would elect the Block and District Presidents through a democratic process. Besides giving them the ideas to regain the glory of the party he asked them to gather outside the Secretariat in Jammu on November 9 to exhibit their solidarity in raising their voice peacefully against the unpopular policies of the ruling coalition regime. He further informed that many defected INC leaders and senior leaders of other prominent national parties are willing to join the INC. The former minister and the sitting MLA, Vikar Rasool and former MLA, Ramban,Ashok Kumar, Ramban District Congress President, Arun Singh Raju, INC Youth Vice President, Rashid Malik, INC District President (Mahila),Narinder Kour and several INC Block Presidents and other senior leaders were also present in the meeting.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
