Credit Cooperation chairperson alleges harassment by R S Pura MLA 11/5/2015 12:11:41 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 4: Chairperson, J&K Women Credit Cooperation Ltd has accused MLA R S Pura of harassing and trying to implicate her in false cases in view of the alleged revelation of the fake BAMS degree of her wife Dr Monika Sharma. In a press conference held here today, Kailash Verma, Chairperson, J&K Women Credit Cooperation Ltd, said the Board of Directors of the Women Credit Cooperation earlier highlighted that BJP legislator's wife had a fake BAMS degree issued by Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Bihar. Verma mentioned that earlier members of the said corporation wrote to the Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Bihar, for the authenticity of Dr Monika's Degree but when they sent photocopies of the degree to University Controller, the latter refused to provide information and then they personally visited the University and Controller Examination of the University allegedly verified that the degree of Dr Monika Sharma is fake. After that, Verma said they approached the Crime Branch for registration of a case into the matter but Crime Branch neither registered the case nor started investigations. However, she mentioned that a complaint was lodged by Neelam Kumari, Member of Board of Directors, J&K Women Credit Cooperative, in the court against Dr Monika Sharma for allegedly holding fake degree of BAMS and in this connection the court directed Crime Branch to investigate the matter. She said it was unfortunate that nothing concrete happened in the matter due to the MLA's influence. She alleged that now MLA was trying to implicate her in false cases in a number of ways which was causing her mental harassment. She alleged that the MLA was now accusing her of forging the degree of his wife to malign the issue which is totally baseless and uncalled for. She appealed to BJP High Command, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and BJP state leadership to take cognizance of the matter and do justice.
