Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 04: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the media in Srinagar on November 7. A senior minister told Early Times that the much-awaited package for the state may be announced during the press conference. "PM will land in Srinagar early morning on Saturday and will address a public rally at Sheri Kashmir stadium. He may also address the press," the minister said but was quick to add that the program is not confirmed yet. If it would happen it would be Modi's first interaction with the press in J&K as the PM. However BJP's media in-charge in Kashmir, Altaf Thakur, said they have no information about it. "We don't have such information, but yes I can tell you that workers of the BJP will assemble at Sher-i-Kashmir Park at 10.00 am Saturday from where they will move towards the cricket stadium to welcome the PM," Thakur said. |
