DE organizes maiden induction party 11/4/2015 11:08:34 PM Early Times Report Bhadarwah, Nov 4:The Department of Education , Bhaderwah Campus organized its maiden Induction party PARICHAY-2015 - a new beginning towards excellence to commemorate the commencement of B.Ed course in Bhaderwah Campus. Rector Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. GM Bhat, who was Chief Guest on the occasion congratulated the freshers and wished for the successful completion of their course. He impressed upon the students to put in their best and work hard to excel not only in academics but in the extra co-curricular activities as well. The induction programme started with the introduction and distribution of gifts to the students by Rector, Bhaderwah Campus. The attraction of the event was the presence of two eminent scientists who delivered the expert lectures and acquainted the students with various facets of earth sciences. Prof. Dr Guido Meinhold from University of Gottingam Germany presented a very lucid lecture. Prof. Bindra Thussu of University College London attracted the students with his motivational words and impressed upon them to make use of all the resources available in the Campus, especially the rich human resource in the form of academicians and researchers affiliated to different disciplines. He emphasized upon the merits of trans-disciplinary approach of gaining higher education.
