Two bovine smugglers held 11/5/2015 12:09:58 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 4: Police today have arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued three bovines from their possession during a naka checking at Akhnoor. The accused have been identified namely as Mohd Lateef and Sikander Ali both residents of Marchola Sunderbani of Rajouri district. Police spokesman said that during the intervening night of November 03/04, police team intercepted two persons at Juthal Galla under the jurisdiction of Police Post Chowki Choura and rescued three bovine animals (2 Oxen and 01 calf) from their possession. "The arrest was made by Inspector Pushvinder SHO Akhnoor in-charge Police Post Chowki Choura, SI Kuldeep Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Naresh Singh Additional SP Rural Rajeev Pandey," police said.
