Civil Defence training programme organized

Jammu, Nov 4: In order to train the students and staff members in dealing with emergent situations like disasters and helping people to come out of the crisis, Five Day Basic Civil Defence Training programme was organized by Romesh Kumar Sharma, Sector Warden Division No.1 at Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir, Mubarkh Mandi, Jammu in which 50 students participated.
The camp was organized under the guidance of Addl. Director General of Police HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of Tajinder Kour, KPS, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In this programme, she was highlighted the role of Civil Defence and its imperastive need at the time of natural calamity. The main aim of the training programme was to facilitate the students / teaching staff members with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid & Floods. In this function, civil defence experts were also present who also put in their views about crisis-management in the event of natural disaster.
