Bear attacks minor girl 11/16/2015 11:33:07 PM early times repot Banihal, Nov 16 : A minor (10) girl was attacked by a black bear in Tetnihal village of Banihal in district Ramban. The injured has been identified as Rafia Banoo d/o Khursheed Ahmed of Tetnihal in Banihal district and is being hospitalized at Govt Hospital Banihal. Police sources said that a ten year old girl was playing near her house at Tetnihal village of Banihal when a black bear pounded upon her. "However on hearing her cries the family members of the girl and other villagers rushed to spot and scared away the beast which left the girl profusely bleeding. "The injured was rushed to Banihal hospital where she was given due health treatment and doctors treating her stated her condition out of danger.
