| CPI holds condolence meet | | |

Jammu, Dec 4: A well attended meeting of the party members and sympathizers was held here today at the Party office ,Shahidi Chowk Jammu to condole the untimely death of the wife of party State Secretary Com Abdul Rehman Tukroo. Tukroo breathed her last at her home in Tukroo village few days ago. This condolence meeting was presided over by Com G S Charas, Regional Secretary Jammu province.
Tukroo was an upright lady who stood by the side of her husband and shouldered full responsibilities of her home, which enabled Com Tukroo to devote wholeheartedly for the party work. Not only that Tukroo often took part in organizing the women wing of the party. She was a social activist in her own right who took pains to educate the illustrate village women about their rights and privileges.
While mourning her sad demise, Com GS Charak described her stalwart who held women's rights close to her heart. Com Charak while expressing of profound grief with Com Tukroo prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.The meeting among others was attended by Comrades, Mohd Yousuf, Naresh Munshi, Rakesh Kumar , M K Dass and others. The meeting observed a two minute silence in the memory of the departed soul. |
