39 injured in separate road mishaps across Jammu region

Samba/ Udhampur, Dec 4: At least Around 39 people were injured in different mishaps in Jammu region when atlesat 26 person sustained injuries with six of them seriously when a mini bus in which they were traveling turned turtle on Sumb near Padel of Samba district while 13 were injured in a three road mishaps reported in Udhampur district here today.
"A mini bus was on way from Samba to Sumb turned turtle near Padel village this evening after the driver lost control over the vehicle. Around 26 passengers sustained injuries, six of them seriously, police spokesperson said.
The police along with the locals rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. "The injured passengers were rushed to Distict Hospital, Samba, from where doctors referred six critically injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for advanced treatment," the police spokesperson said.
He added that the critically injured have been identified as Rita Devi, resident of Penthi, Shastri, resident of Mala Pangwal, Nitin Singh, resident of Druee, BSF Constable, RK Patil, Sanjeev Sharma, resident of Penthi and Balraj Singh resident of Karad village in Samba. Meanwhile the concerned police have registered a case and started investigations.
Meanwhile reports from Udhampur added that a Bus bearing regd no JK02H-6493 on its way from Chanani to Udhampur collided with a Truck bearing regd No JK02W- 6827 near Kali Mata Temple Jakhani along National Highway in Udhampur district resulting injuries to ten persons. Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured Persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured persons identified as Jagdesh Kumar S/o Chunni Lal of Manta, Vijay Kumar S/o Bhagt Ram of Bali, Babli Devi D/o of Chean Singh of Manta, Rattan Singh S/o Thakur Dass of Laddha, Joginder Singh S/o Abtar Singh of Talab Tilo Jammu, Sabitri Devi W/o Shok Ram of Bali, Jagdev S/o Bali Ram of Laddha, Jiban Kumar S/o Krishan Lal of Laddha, Poja Devi D/o Pritam Singh of Manta, Thakru S/o Chandu Ram of Laddha. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
Yet in another road accident three vehicle, two Motorcycles and one car collided at Choprashop national highway Udhampur resulting injuries to two persons who were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment. The injured have been identified as Jagdesh Kumar and Ravi Kumar of Barola Udhampur.
In another accident reported from in Udhampur one person received injuries when a pedestrian Arush was hit by car near Salathia Chowk and locals immediately shifted injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur.
