| Municipal Com interacts with Beopar Mandal executives | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 4: Municipal Council today held a meeting with of Beopar Mandal Udhampur which was held under chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner K K Chanotra in which participating members deliberated upon various issues in regard to sanitation and ban on use of polythene bags and etc.
According to official spokesperson, the representatives from Beopar Mandal agreed to the suggestions from Municipal Commissioner and showed their willingness to make the town a congestion free zone.
They coincided with the suggestion regarding suggestion about street vendor not to be static instead will have to be mobile from one place to other so as to streamline the traffic in the old city. Other issues discussed in the meeting were sanitation of the city and Beopar Mandal submitted their ideas for sanitation around the city better including better drainage and sewage system. The meeting concluded with Municipal Commissioner Udhampur seeking due cooperation from business community which is the only key to make the Udhampur as a developed and clean city. |
