All-India T-20 Championship to restart on Dec 5th Shiv Dev Thakur | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: The All-India T-20 cricket Championship which was started to spread a message of unity and National Integration is likely to get a restart after a withhold of couple of days. The T-20 championship was inaugurated by Ch. Lal Singh on November 3 at the Maulana Azad Stadium but the Championship was withheld for a period of time due to clash with the dates of Ranji matches to be played at the same stadium. Chief Patron of the Youth Cricket Club, Bhalessa, Asrar-ul-Haq Zargar, shared that the championship is going to restart on 5th December as a match is scheduled on 5th Dec. He added that the entry fee for the teams is Rs 30,000 while big team and individual prizes have been set for the winning and runner-up teams including Rs. 2 lakh along with a trophy as the cash prize for the winning team whereas Rs 1 lakh and a trophy for the runner-up,Rs 30,000 and a trophy will be presented to man of the series, while Rs 5,000 will be awarded to the man of the match in finals, best batsman and best bowler whereas Rs 500 each will be presented to the winners of man of the match awards in all the matches except finals. He also added that 'Little Master' also known as 'God of Cricket' have a reason to rejoice as Sachin Tendulkar is also going to visit Jammu in the concluding function of All-India T-20 championship at MA Stadium Jammu. |
