Imam exhorts youth of Chhani Himmat to observe brotherhood, nationalism 12/4/2015 11:21:45 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 4: In an initiative to inculcate the sense of unity and integrity among the youth, the administration of United Public Higher Secondary School (UPHSS), Chhani Himmat organized a function in the school premises wherein resource persons Maulana Sayeed Mohd, Imam of main mosque, Malik Market delivered a sermon and exhorted youths to observe unity and nationalism. A large number of students, faculty members and youths of the area was present on this occasion held United Public Higher Secondary School (UPHSS), Chhani Himmat Malik Market, Sunjwan, Bathindi. In his sermon Special invitee imam exhorted the gathering particularly the youth of area for maintaining harmony and unity. Underling the significance of nationalism the force which binds the masses of a nation, he said every one irrespective to caste and religion in India are Indian first and all should be proud of it. Not missing an opportunity to caution the youth against miscreant elements who are hell; bent on disintegrating the nation on basis of religion and caste, Imam said, "All we need to foil their nefarious designs is to be vigil against them and not fall prey to their evil plans which has grave repercussion and costs upcoming generation. Laying stress on education, resource persons said that education is that tool which help a student to be harmonious personality as the aim of education is to make one individual physically and mentally alert besides spiritually active. "Enlightened minds of a nation are better for the health of the society and nation as well, he added. Religious cleric also cautioned the students of using mobiles and likewise gadgets which are just diverting their attention from studies and also have adverse affect on the young mind.
