CC &NR-I to clash in finals of Powergrid Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2015 12/4/2015 11:23:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 4 : Corporate Centre (CC) and Northern Region-I (NR-I) will face each other in the finals of the Powergrid Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2015. On the fifth day of the tournament today, two Semifinals were played in two separate grounds wherein in the first semifinal CC defeated WR-I comprehensively by eight wickets. Batting first, WR-I managed to score only 107 in their 20 overs. Corporate overhauled the target in 14 overs for the loss of just two wickets. Udit of Corporate centre who scored unbeaten 79 and also took one wicket was adjudged Man of the match. In the second semifinal NR-I defeated WR-I by 9 wickets. Batting first, WR-I were bundled out for 98 in 19.1 overs. NR-I chased the target easily in 15.4 overs for loss of only one wicket. Pankaj Roy of NR-I who took four wickets was declared man of the match. Finals are being tomorrow at Amandeep Cricket academy from 11 am.
