| KC Gurukul Public School celebrates Annual day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Dec 5 : KC Gurukul Public School celebrated its Annual Day and Prize distribution function amongst lots of gaiety and fun today at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium University of Jammu. Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Assembly, graced the occassion as the Chief Guest
The distinguished Guest of Eminent honour was Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister of Commerce & Industries. The Chief Guest inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp. The function proceeded with the invocation of Godess Saraswati an obeisance to Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom. Academic Director of the school Vijay Puri formally welcomed the august gathering.
The annual report of the school was read by the senior coordinator Neera Dogra to elucidate the achievements and update the parents and gathering about the academic excellence attained by the students as well as in sports and co-curricular front for the session 2015-2016.
The Cultural Bonanza "Sanskriti" was appreciated by one and all. All the participants were highly impressive . English play Julius Cesar enthralled the audience. Rajasthani dance made everyone spellbound with the nimble footed movements. The enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the participants of fusion of Aerobics & Classical Indian dance was beyond description .
The Chief Guest in his speech praised the wonderful show put up by the school children and lauded each and every item. Overall it was a beautiful event that left everyone humming the music of performed items .Vote of thanks was given away by the Chairman of the school Arvind Mahajan.
The programme culminated with the singing of the National Anthem. |
