Team Jammu to hold rally in Rajouri on Dec 19

RAJOURI, Dec 14: Seeking support of the people of Rajouri district to liberate younger generation of Jammu region from yoke of deadly drugs, the Team Jammu today asked people to give just two hours from their busy schedule and participate in the anti-drug rally scheduled to be held at Rajouri on December 19 to kick start decisive campaign against drug mafia.
"Our rally at Rajouri is a small but effective initiative as part of our on-going war against drugs and influential drug lords. We need support of every sections of the society to save our younger generation from this deadly menace", Zorawar Singh Jamwal, chairman of the Team Jammu said.
He cautioned that this deadly disease is slowly gripping our younger generation and there is need to launch a decisive and effective battle against this menace. "After successfully organizing a rally at Jammu on November 28, we have decided to organise second anti-drug rally at border town of Rajouri because this town is also emerging as biggest hub of narcotic consumption", he said and cautioned the people that it was high time to launch a war against drugs.
"If we failed to unitedly fight against this menace, future generation will not forgive us", he said and made a passionate appeal to the residents of Rajouri to make the forthcoming rally as a grand success to give a message to influential drug mafia. "Leave aside your political affiliations; we are passing through a very crucial juncture. It is high time to come together to fight this menace", he appealed to the people, adding, "this menace has gripped youth all castes, creeds, regions and religion so there is need to come on a common platform to fight to this menace".
Among other members of Team Jammu who were present during the press conference included Er Chandan Dutta, Nitu Khullar, Adheeshwar Gupta, Advocate Zaheer Abbas and Nazi Sahwney.
