Udhampur, Dec 14:A large number of locals, members and locals under the banner of All Party Action Committee (APPC) Roun of udhampur district, today held a strong protest against PDD authorities for their failure to provide uninterrupted power supply.
Protestors led by Sarpanch Roun Rameshwar Sharma assembled at Roun Domail Chwok Udhampur and amid sloganeering against PDD authorities demanded regular power supple they area.
Rameshwar Sharma Sarpanch Roun said that the poor people of the Panchayat Roun the painful electricity curtailment by the PDD department of the Udhampur from 5 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 8 pm may kindly be stopped.
Locals warned the authorities to solve the problem otherwise they will have to intensify their ongoing stir. Among other prominent present o occasion were all the panch the area namely as Mohan Lal, Vijay Kumar, Sushila Devi, Shakuntla Devi, Hem Raj and Rakesh Kumar, Jugal Kishor and many others. |
