Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Migrant Cell (PCC MC) today held a meeting in which they demanded proper compensation to migrant families along with establishment of satellite townships for migrants in Kashmir Valley near Srinagar City. According to press release, Co- Convener of PCC Migrant Cell Shadi Lal Pandita said that State and Central Government for its total failure in redressing the grievance of the people. He alleged that State and Central Government which claimed before election to work for development of the State has done nothing till date. "Both governments have made no headway of Settlement Township for Kashmiri Pandit Migrants in Valley and their promises are proving to be false", he said. He further said that since the date Bhartiya Janta Party taken over Government in Central the suffering and miseries of the general masses have been added as militancy, killings, corruption, increasing in whole India and also Jammu and Kashmir State besides the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community has been totally ignored. Others who were present in the meeting were Ghulam Qadir Bhat, Chuni Lal Raina, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Shuban Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat and Rattan Lal Bhat. |
