JK Public School annual sports meet started 12/15/2015 12:15:09 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 14 : The Annual Sports Meet at JK Public School, Jammu had a colourful start on Monday, the 14th December 2015, with dazzling display of sports activities presented by the students. Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director, and SK Singh, Principal of the school inaugurated the event in the school playground. Students from the Toddler s Wing and the Primary Wing participated in the event with great zeal and fervor. All the students especially the participants were really excited about the event. The event filled the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The event was made interesting for the young toddlers by making it "Run for Fun". Numerous races especially the banana races, sack race, and 'get ready for school' race were some of the main attractions of the event. The winners were applauded with great enthusiasm. The school has no leaps and bounds as far as its growth is concerned. JK Public School lays a great deal of emphasis on games & sports and gives lot of impetus to the sports events. It is the vision of the school to encourage students for their all-round development. The students are advised to excel in academics on par with the games and sports.
