Jammu, Dec 14 : Jammu and Kashmir Basketball Association shall select probables for the state team for the upcoming Senior National Basketball Championship during the state championship scheduled to be held from 16-18 December at Jammu.
The Senior National Basketball Championship is being held at Mysore, Karnataka from 9-17 January, 2016.
16 probables each in men and women sections shall be selected to undergo camps prior to the national championships, for which request has been made to the authorities of State Sports Council. The camp shall begin from 19th of December at M A Stadium Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that 15 teams including Sports Authority of India, Army, BSF, J&K Police and district teams of Srinagar, Baramulla, Udhampur, Kathua, besides Jammu are participating in the the 3-day Senior State Basketball championship being organized at MA stadium Basketball arena. |
