| SRMWC organizes meet, discusses preparedness of Maha Shivratri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14 : Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) today organized a meeting of prominent citizens and business organizations of Jammu to discuss the modalities for Shiv Barat (Shobha Yatra )to be organized on the eve of Maha Shivratri festival in the first week of March 2016.
According to press release, the meeting was chaired by Mahant of the Temple Rishi Ban Ji Maharaj whereas Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra presided the meeting. On the occasion Mahant Rishi Ban sought co-operation of all the business organizations in making Shoba Yatra a grand success and appeal all trade organizations , prominent citizens to be part of this Shobha Yatra . He appealed traders organizations of Old Jammu city to decorate their markets with gates , buntings , lights to welcome Shiv Barat.
Speaking on the occasion Spokesperson and Legal Advisor of the committee Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra said that in the first week of March a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva ( Shiv Barat )will be jointly organized Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee and Jammu and Kashmir Dharamath Trust in Jammu.
This Shobha Yatra( Shiv Barat )will pass through all main bazars of the old city viz. Indira Chowk , Hari Market , Raghunath Bazar , Old Hospital road, Purani Mandi , Link road , Jain Bazar , Chowk Chabutra ,Pacca Danga , Mubarak Mandi , Dhounthly Bazar and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple. |
