Jammu, Dec 15: Three persons were today arrested allegedly with illicit liquor and intoxicant capsules in two separate incidents in Jammu and Samba districts . Yash Pal alias Shadi Lal and Kujeet Singh were today arrested with 151 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon Plus by a police party patrolling in Talab Bagh-e-Bahu of Jammu district, they said. A case has been registered against the two and an investigation is underway, they added.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a man was arrested with 63 pouches of illicit liquor during a surprise check in Samba district here, police said.
Girdhari Lal, a resident of Bishnah was arrested, for allegedly transporting illicit liquor which was to be sold at exorbitant rates in Vijaypur area here, they added.
A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of Excise Act, police said, adding, investigations are underway. |
