Ram Madhav misleads nation, says agenda of alliance is agenda of governance | Mishandling J&K | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 15: BJP national general secretary and "perverted" and "half-baked" RSS ideologue Ram Madhav, who was one of the architects of the roundly condemned Agenda of Alliance on the basis of which the coalition government was formed in J&K last March, the other day again used a national channel to mislead the Indian nation as far as the implications of the agenda of alliance were concerned. Actually, during ABPNews-sponsored programme, Press Conference, Ram Madhav claimed that the agenda of alliance was "an agenda of governance" and that the "BJP didn't compromise its ideology". "In Kashmir, it was the PDP which emerged as the single largest party and in Jammu, it was the BJP that won the mandate. There was no option for the BJP except to go in for coalition with the PDP and form government in the state. We discussed all the issue for two months and devised an agenda of governance. The government has been performing well," he claimed. Ram Madhav spoke one lie after the other and went scot-free because his interviewer, Dewaang, was blissfully ignorant about the contents of the agenda of alliance. Had he gone through the agenda of alliance before asking questions to Ram Madhav, he would have cornered him and exposed the BJP's national general secretary and helped countrymen know the whole truth and the act of political debauchery the BJP committed in J&K for power-sharing. The truth is that the agenda of alliance is not an agenda of governance; it is an agenda of subversion, agenda of capitulation and an agenda that undid all that the country had done to integrate the state into India. It is an agenda that has recognized the special status of the state, jeopardized the interests of Jammu and Ladakh, helped separatists heightened their anti-India activities in the Valley, created a situation in the Valley that has promoted Pakistan and ISIS agents, who hoist their respective flags every Friday in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley. It is an agenda that has frightened the people of Jammu and Ladakh and that has generated an intense debate on it Jammu with civil society members and organizations like Jammu Lawyers Forum, Panun Kashmir and Panthers Party holding serious discussions on the agenda of alliance to educate public opinion. The fact of the matter is that the agenda of alliance is the most dangerous document ever produced in the state's 68-year-long political and constitutional history. It is a matter of grave concern that the RSS-BJP combine is treading a dangerous path and undermining everything that India stands for. |
