Kishtwar, Dec 15: YDSWS, a Marwah based NGO has demanded air service for Marwah.
A meeing held today to discuss issues pertaining to the problems faced by the people of Marwah during winter.
The NGO demanded immediate air service for Marwah and Warwan till the onset of summer season. The area also lacks electricity as well as communication facility.
While addressing the meeting, President YDSWS said leaders from Kishtwar who promised a lot during electioneering have failed the people. He also criticised MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma for failing the people.
He said that instead of listening to the problems faced by the people of Marwah, the politicians turned off their phone when distressed people try to approach them.
He said that due to recent snowfall the road leading to Marwah and Warwan were closed. The closed roads have subjected the people to inconvenience.
He said that the condition of the health institutions in the area is in shambles. He also complained of shortage of ration .
He urged upon MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma, MLC's Firdous Tak and Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo to ensure air service in the area.
