Annual Day of NSK High School celebrated 12/16/2015 12:22:59 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 15 : Naveen Shiksha Kender High School, being run by SAWERA NGO celebrated its Annual Day on Tuesday. According to press release, the Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Program started with lighting of traditional lamp and Saraswati Vandana followed by welcome address by Ram Gopal Sharma, Chairman School Management. A number of cultural items were presented by the School Children. YP Khajuria President SAWERA NGO while speaking on the occasion said that the school is being run by SAWERA NGO for the children of the weaker sections of the society and NGO is providing virtually free education to about four hundred poor children. Kavinder Gupta Chief Guest spoke on the occasion and applauded the Management Committee for doing this noble cause. Speaker announced an assistance of Rs. 2.oo lac for the construction of a room in the school. He also assured that a Toilet Block for girls students be got constructed by the Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation. On the occasion, the speaker and Naresh Khajuria General Secretary of Pt. Munshi Ram Khajuria Public Welfare Trust presented shawls, Mementoes and certificates to 27 Social Activists and Some students of deaf and dumb school run by JK Samaj Kalyan Kender Jammu.
