Christmas celebrated with great enthusiasm across State

Jammu, Dec 23: Christmas celebrated by various social and educational institutions across State with religious fervor, great enthusiasm and gaiety.
JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Jammu and its affiliated unit JK Little Milliennium International Pre- School celebrated Christmas in school premises here today with religious fervor. Students were dressed in colourful costumes depicting the roles of "Fairy" and "Santa". Poster card making competition was also organized by the students of classes Ist to 3rd with great interest, enthusiasm & Zeal and winners were declared by the judges on the basis of their creativity of the students.
A special assembly was conducted today in MHAC School, Nagbani Jammu to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and to wish Merry Christmas to everyone. A Christmas tree was put up in the school, decorated with small ornaments, stars and gifts. Christmas carols were sung by the school choir. Some of the students elaborated upon the teachings of Jesus and the importance of Christmas. Hundreds of young Children dressed as Santa Claus distributed sweets among the students.
KC Gurukul Public School Paloura, Jammu celebrated Christmas in its premises with great fervour. The celebration started with a special assembly in which the kids gave a demonstration depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. The toddlers were dressed up in Santa Claus and Fairies spreading a colourful and delighting atmosphere all around. Students sang Christmas Carols. Santa made a grand entry singing and dancing to the tunes of "Jingles Bells" and distributed sweets among the students.
Delhi Public School, Jammu celebrated Christmas with great fervour and gaiety in the school premises here today. The students participated in various programmes with great enthusiasm. The special assembly started with the holy prayer was followed by melodious carols and cultural bonanza. Various songs and carols were presented in the praise of Mother Mary and Lord Christ by the students from different classes. Nativity scene was also presented in which birth of the Christ was enacted by the students in a remarkable and inspiring manner.
Women Development cell of Government College of Education celebrated X-MAS cum New Year festival with great zeal and enthusiasm. The programme began with the card making competition on the eve of X-MAS and New Year. Students actively participated in the event.
Little Millennium Pre School celebrated Christmas at Roop Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and the little angels aged between 2 to 6 years came dressed as Santa Claus and Christmas carols were sung by them throughout the function. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers and a brightly decorated Christmas tree. Overriding every other emotion, a wave of cheer enveloped the school. Depicting the true essence of love, joy and peace, children enjoyed the live depiction of Christmas Crib.
Flower Kids Nursery School Talab Tillo today celebrated Christmas day with zeal and enthusiasm. Students and Staff reflected upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and his life. The tiny tots of the School sang carols. The students attired as Santa Claus attracted the attention of the audience. The children sang in very festive mood "Jingle Bells" and danced to the numbers like "We wish you a Merry Christmas" etc.
Apple Kids International Pre-School, Bantalab today organized a colouring competition and celebrated Christmas with a festive spirit at the school premises. Christmas is a festival of joy and giving. It celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ who is the son of God. Clad in colourful and specially designed Christmas dresses, the young students danced on the tunes of popular songs amidst sharing sweets among themselves thus making it a festival of friendship and joy.
Winter Carnival at KC Public School the winter carnival at KC Pubic School was abuzz with Christmas celebrations. A special programme was put up by students of pre-primary wing and Primary wing. A beautiful ambience was created with art and craft work done by students. An array of displays comprising of stockings, sno flakes, reindeers, jingle bells, snow men and Santa Claus wafted magical spell.
Kidzee Pre School of Zee Learn Ltd. celebrated "Merry Christmas"at its branches: - Anand Nagar Bohri, Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat and Talab Tillo with great fervour. The celebration started with the special assembly in which the kids were given demonstration depicting the birth of "Jesus Christ". The toddlers were dressed up in "Santa claus & Fairies" spreading a colourful and delighting atmosphere all around.
